Toby was rescued from a shelter about 2 1/2 years ago. He is now approximately 3 years old according to his vet records and he's had all shots at Care Animal Hospital.

Toby's human dad recently passed away and he is no longer getting the time and attention he needs and deserves. He is used to being with someone at all times and suffers from separation anxiety when I leave the house.  Toby is a neutered pug/terrier and can be skittish at times though he warms to adults, dogs and cats quickly. He is slower to warm up with young children.

He does not like to be confined when alone. We had a second dog when we brought Toby home and he was a perfect companion. I think the loss of his playmate and then the death of his owner is too sad. He is fed twice a day, canned food. I often leave a little dry out for snacks. he is primarily an inside fellow, who goes to the door and whines when he needs out. He needs to find a loving home like he once had. Please help.
