GODIVA's Story...
GODIVA is a Beautiful spayed, adult Shih Tzu. She was pulled from a crowded shelter. GODIVA is a calm girl and appreciates peacefulness. GODIVA can be fearful at times, growling at strangers, or when she is uncomfortable. For this reason, she requires an Adult-Only home that will be especially patient with her while she learns to trust and establishes stability and routine. After warming up slowly, GODIVA likes to sit in laps, and loves to go for walks. She may do well with another calm dog, and has done well around cats. Why Adoption is a Great Option

GODIVA, a Bridgewater Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Bridgewater, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Bridgewater.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bridgewater already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bridgewater breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bridgewater paves the way for another one to be saved.
