My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trooper and his brother Ryder are being fostered together. They are very close; both comforting each other in the shelter and during the transition into a foster home. They are now ready to find their forever homes. They would do great to find a home together but would be fine if separated. Trooper is a gentle 4 month old puppy about 21lbs. He’s a little on the shy side but is learning to open up and trust in his foster home. He loves playing with all sizes of dogs and tends to be submissive. He’s gentle and timid even with cats. He loves playing with kids but would do fine in any home where he’d be included in family activities. He’s crate trained and loves to sneak off to his crate for an afternoon nap. Although he will sleep soundly in his kennel overnight, he prefers to sleep with his person in a snuggly bed. He’s potty trained with the use of a doggy door. He’s still learning to walk on a leash. Right now it just seems to be the scariest thing ever and he just freezes! With time and trust this will easily change. Trooper is a very gentle boy but is apprehensive and shy with new experiences. He wants to find a loving home with someone who will take the time to help build his confidence and promise never to abandon him again. He’s UTD on shots, neutered, microchipped, and started on HW preventative.
