Trudy's Story...
Trudy is a beautiful girl. She is between 3 and 4 years old, so she is out of that grab your ankles stage. Trudy is a bit shy at first, but she is extremely loving once she realizes she's safe. She will hold my hand and wash it for me. Trudy tolerates her foster brother George the beagle. She is good with other cats. She has been spayed and is up to date on vaccines. She is also microchipped. We'd love for you to meet Trudy! If interested, please fill out an application at http://forrescue.net/dog-application/ or email info@FORrescue.net with any questions. The application is not binding; it is simply how to start a conversation for the best match

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trudy, a Homewood Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
