Vader's Story...
Vader here. Unlike my namesake, I am strong with the force and firmly on the good side. I'm a 10 month old lab/heeler mix. I am neutered, crate trained, housetrained, and up to date on vaccines. I was returned to the rescue due to no fault of my own, and I am looking for a real forever home. I am sweet and playful, and I really love water. My favorite thing, however, is to sit and get cuddles. Do you have an empty lap that needs to be filled?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vader, a Broken Arrow Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler for sale in Broken Arrow, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Broken Arrow.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broken Arrow already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broken Arrow breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broken Arrow paves the way for another one to be saved.
