Hi! I’m a black 17 lb cat who is a lover, playful, and love to chase laser lights.  I’m litter box trained.  I have had excellent health care and recently had my teeth cleaned.  I have been declawed so I am strictly an indoor kitty. I hide from kids who pester me, and I don’t like big dogs. My best friend is my sister Boo. Boo and I are looking for a new home because my current owner has two children and another on the way so we hide from them most of the time. She would love to see Boo and I in a home without small children and big dogs where we can get lots of attention, and freedom to roam about the house. I am 10 years old and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV.

About Second Chance Companions

About Our Rescue Group...

Founded in 1993, Second Chance Companions is a 501(c) 3 non-profit pet organization dedicated to helping animals in SW Washington and the Portland Metro area.

We are a humane, no-kill organization staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers.

Although we do not run an independent shelter, we feed, care for, adopt out, and spay & neuter as many animals as possible. In addition, we educate the community and are always seeking volunteers and resources that help us to accomplish our mission.

We have a small number of foster homes available, but also work with private owners who keep their pets while looking for homes for them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have cats available for adoption all the time at the Vancouver Plaza and Gresham Petsmarts.

We also have adoption events most every weekend and often during the week too. See all of our currently scheduled events at: http://www.sccpets.com/pages/events.html
