Jake is a male castrated DSH tuxedo (black and white) kitten, born about September 16th 2016. He has an adorable black nose. Jake and his brother Elwood were found together stuck in a food bin in Woodland (they do love to eat!). Jake is a shy but friendly kitten who loves to be patted and purrs like crazy. He is just learning how much fun kitten toys can be and is becoming more outgoing every day in his foster home. He gets along well with other kittens and cats , even though he does not seem to understand the concept of personal space. His foster family often find him sleeping on top of his foster siblings, or lying next to his brother with his arms wrapped around him so that no one can tell which paws belong to which kitten. Jake loves to eat and always uses his litter box. He is a medium energy kitten who would likely do best adopted with his brother Elwood, so he has a buddy to play and hang out with (and sleep on). Jake is doing well in his foster family's home which is a busy (2 teenagers, 4 dogs, 3 cats and of course--foster kittens). As Jake is a bit of a shy guy, he would do best with a forever family who is patient and continue to play with him and cuddle him so that he can continue to overcome his shyness. He is a sweet and lovely kitten and will make an excellent addition to your family.

4. You may either fax the completed application to the Feline Coordinator at 530 231 2969 or email it to cats@yolospca.org

All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have are Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $90 (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration).

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All of our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email cats@yolospca.org. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org.

We are still accepting applications on this animal; we do remove the pets from our site once they are adopted.
