This lovely lady is Melanie. She is a beautiful 1-2 yr old Bull Terrier Mix. She is amazing with people but should be the only dog in the home. Melanie needs a secure yard and a family that will love her and give her lots of attention. She is a precious girl with a super personality. 100% fully vetted and HW negative. Ready for her new home!!!
Open Heart Animal Rescue is a small non-profit 501(c)3 NO KILL rescue dedicated to helping save the lives of neglected, abused, desperate animals that have no voice. We rescue animals on Death Row in animal control centers, rehabilitate and find them permanent homes. We re-socialize the scared and abused and give them unconditional love and respect.

We have Adoption Day events at the local Tractor Supply in Cookeville, TN.
Our Adoption Process...
Our Adoption fee for dogs is $125.00 and cats, $50.00 This fee goes directly for the purchase of dog food, kennel maintenance, vetting..(which includes all vaccinations, HW test, spay/neuter, DeWorm) and other necessary items for the rescue. The Adoption Contract must be filled out with current Vet and personal references and a Home Visit is required. A fenced yard is a MUST for the larger breeds.
