Stormy's Story...
Name: Stormy
Breed: Retriever mix
Age: Senior
Gender: Female

Stormy is an 8 years young female Retriever mix, and although she's got some grey it only adds to her beauty. She still plays like a champ with the other dogs at the dog daycare, loves any and all people she meets, and is past the rowdy puppy stages... not been a chewer, already house trained. Stormy was left behind by her owners and deserves more than that, so we are making sure her next home is a forever one. She's so sweet and such a smart girl.

Requirements: No special requirements

You can email with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stormy, a Minneapolis Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
