From his rescuer:

“Gabby” (male)(temporary name) showed up on my back porch about two months ago...Very friendly,  as soon as I stepped out on my porch and was talking up a storm...I petted him, noticed how clean he was and he had this friendly light in his eyes and very playful...He's a little con artist and I really like him.

During the next two weeks he tried desperately to come into the house…My female cats would not tolerate him. He loves to talk…I've been around cats my whole life and have never come across such a cat that loves to communicate via voice.

I have been trying to find him a home....He just kept looking sadder and sadder and even a couple of my friends said 'gosh, he looks so depressed' and of course I had already noticed that. All the time still feeding him and him trying to get into the house and he just could not understand why he could not come in. He does not seem to mind having his nails trimmed. He will need a good, sturdy scratching post or 2 (or more)…the more you have the better.

He seems to like being the 'only' cat/alpha cat…He is with dogs right now and there is no fur flying but they are still separated and only together with supervision. He wanted to play with my cats, but I don't think he knows his strength.  I have seen him guard his food (natural instinct when food is in short supply) with the local strays on my back porch...This cat can hold his own easily...He's a big boy...PPAW said was born about October/November 2015 and weighs in at 13 lbs. (Orange males have a tendency to be large cats…..) He is neutered, tested negative for Fel/FIV and has had all of his vaccinations on 11/14/16. Copies of medical records will be provided.

I have posted him on Lost and Found...combed the internet for him and contacted several people who had similar missing cats to no avail.

****$50 adoption fee will be donated to the PPAW Spay Neuter Clinic. For more information about “Gabby the talking cat,” please contact Susan at 865-242-0447 or   References will be checked….he currently resides in Loudon, TN******
