Patrick - Available for Adoption
Our poor Patrick is a shy kitty. He’s like that bespectacled little kid hanging out alone at recess, tucked in a corner, barely looking up to make sure none of the hustle and bustle gets too close for comfort… When we look at him, all we want to do is give him a hug and tell him that everything is going to be alright. Patrick, like all BFF cats, was found abandoned on the streets almost hairless from flea allergies and starved, so we don’t know if he’s always been a shy cat or if having to survive outside made him that way. This poor boy has been through a lot, and he needs a kind and loving furever family that will help him blossom and find his place in the world. Patrick does get out of his shell for wet food (he ADORES it), and really enjoys his toys and the laser light. Right now, Patrick seems to prefer curling into a ball by your side rather than on your lap, but that may change with time and patience. He loves being petted and will even let you give him belly rubs! Patrick gets along with other cats, and we actually think that another feline companion may help him become more confident. We must insist, however, that he goes to a quiet household with a social life that qualifies as low key. Older, respectful children will be fine. Patrick is probably about a year old, he is neutered, up to date on all his shots and negative for FIV and FeLV.
