Brother's Story...
Brother is full grown and about 5-6 years old. He weighs 14 pounds. His owner died suddenly and now he is under our care. He hasn't had the opportunity to be around other animals much, and would need to be introduced slowly. He loves to be held and would make a great lap dog. If you would like more information, please contact our shelter in Mountain View, Arkansas at 870-269-5200. You can also go online and complete an adoption application at schspets.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brother, a Mountain View Rat Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Mountain View, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Mountain View.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain View already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain View breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain View paves the way for another one to be saved.
