She was found in Mexico as a stray puppy and flown here by two very dedicated local women who covered all of her spaying, shots and flight expenses. We are courtesy posting to help them find a home for Charly. She is adjusting to all the new changes in her life and can be a little timid so she prefers to be approached slowly be new people. She listens to commands, minds well and responds to direction promptly. She is happy, active and is a wonderful companion on hikes and beach trips. She lives with two other small dogs in foster care and gets along well with them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charly - Courtesy Post, a Encino Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Encino, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
