Reeses's Info...

I am housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Reeses's Story...
Reeses came to us as a Owner Surrender, because the family could not keep up with his energy level.

Reese is 7 month old and had little to no training. He is partial housetrained and also very motivated to learn.
Reese will need a patient and experienced home, where he can learn proper doggy manners. Doggy classes are highly recommended.
This boy is a big ol sweetheart and is having a hard time sitting still. His butt always wiggles and he is always friendly. He never met a stranger.

Due to his energy level and lack of manners, Reeses will need a home without small children. ( 10 and older should work).

Reese's Adoption Fee is $82, which includes: Microchip, Vaccines ( Distemper & Rabies),Heartwormtest and deworming. If you're interested please call (785)239-6183! If no one answers then please leave a message! You can also contact us via email at nicole.p.storm@us.army.mil

Act quickly to adopt Reeses. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reeses, a Fort Riley Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Fort Riley, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Fort Riley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Riley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Riley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Riley paves the way for another one to be saved.
