Salvadore  is a 2 year old Miniature Pinscher.  He and his companions were rescued from very sad conditions after the owner passed away.  They are currently in a foster/kennel facility and are being evaluated.  He seems to be in good condition/health.  A little nervous upon being transported to foster, but otherwise it seems like he will make a wonderful companion.

Salvadore will be vaccinated and neutered prior to adoption.

After a couple days at the boarding kennel, the staff noted: Sal is a bit food protective.  But he is the first one to come in from the outside runs.   He patiently allowed treatment of a sore on back and some ear cleaning.  After that he settled right in and enjoyed some cuddle and lap time.

Sal will be neutered on 12/8 and is hoping for a foster or forever home for the holidays!  He has livied with other dogs, but seems like he would be happier as a beloved only-pet.   (No cats!)

Identifier:  Pink collar, white between shoulders, long tail, semi-erect ears

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.

 Thank you!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do many events throughout the year with our foster dogs in attendance. Please check our online calendar frequently to see where you can visit us.

Our Adoption Process...

Filling out an application is the first step. An online application is located on Haven to Home's homepage. Application, references, home visit and adoption fee are required to adopt one of our dogs. Due to the severe overpopulation of dogs in this country Haven to Home believes that responsible pet owners have their pets spayed or neutered. Therefore it is our policy not to adopt our dogs to people who do not have their current animals spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason. Adoption fees are $175 for Puppies; $225 for Adults; and, for Senior Dogs it will be determined on a case by case basis.
