Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet boy is Rick. Some of you may remember the story we posted about his bonded brother Morty a couple of months ago. To our shock, Morty ingested something at the store he was at which poisoned him, and he became critically ill. Despite our best efforts, his situation deteriorated. We did all we could, but he didn't make it....
And Rick has been heart-broken since. He misses his brother so much, that he barely interacts with other cats, despite usually loving company. His whole world has been shattered.
The thing is, is underneath the despair, there is such a wonderful boy. He just needs a little bit of love to help him open up again ❤️
Rick is an easy-going guy who loves to hang out in his cat tree. He likes to be around people too, and enjoys cuddles. He would do great with children, as he is a gentle boy. He is also sure to entertain with his fondness for opening cupboards 😂
Rick does need a little bit of patience, as he sometimes still has a tendency to get a little bit shy and withdrawn. After all, it's always a little bit hard to open yourself up to love after a loss.
But, the patience will be worth it, we promise! Rick is a very very sweet boy, who undoubtedly will make a wonderful companion. He will also need a cat-friend, as he does enjoy company.
