COMMENTS FROM THE FOSTER FAMILY:
Katrina is a snuggle bug and loves getting affection. She can be very submissive to humans and may even lay down when approached. She loves to play and gets along very well with our male dog. They play like puppies and zoom around the back yard. It is a joy to watch. Katrina (we have been calling her Gracie) has little interest in toys and would rather interact with humans and dogs. She is a sweet, energetic and loving gal. She would do best with a fenced back yard. She sleeps in a crate at night in our bedroom but would also love to sleep on the bed! We have been working with Katrina on better leash manners and learning her boundaries. We do not have any cats so she has not been cat tested but BFPA can cat test if necessary. Please consider making Katrina a part of your family.
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:
Katrina was pulled from a rural shelter right before Hurricane Matthew hit NC. She is now in the home of a loving foster. Her life has changed forever and she is now looking for her forever home. Could that be with you?

Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.
