Iris is a lovely two year old kitty. She has lost an eye though it doesn't slow her down. She was recently fostered, so we gained some valuable information from her foster mom below.
She is a total package. You'll notice she looks like she is always winking at you. Who wouldn't want that??? The veternarian was able to safely remove one of her injured eyes. She has recovered well and is ready to be your forever family member. Iris LOVES to play with toys. Usually she loves the ones with sounds or materials that makes a little noise. That way she can follow her ears if the toy is thrown out of her line of sight. She is VERY sweet and might fall asleep on your chest. She is also very confident in exploring any new areas or other animals. She also has lot to say and likes to follow you around. She got along with the foster mom's small beagles pretty well, but started to want some time away from them after several days. She may need some extra reassurance around other animals in a home to help her relax. She is currently enjoying her time in our open cat room, Purr Palace. Please come meet her!
