DLRR gave me the name Madison but my foster family has been calling me Liv! I am 14 weeks. I am very cute & beautiful. I love to cuddle!!! I like to take naps because I am still growing so much every day. I sometimes follow the command sit but an still working on it. I am not fully potty trained yet but still working on it. I will need some puppy training because I like to jump. I am very playful!!! I am comfortable in a kennel with a comfy dog bed. If you are interested you can foster to adopt me. I am not yet fixed so as soon as I am you can adopt me. In the mean time you can cuddle and play with me as my foster.

If you are interested in this dog, please fill out an application at www.DLRRphoenix.org. Someone will call to schedule a home visit so you can become an approved adopter. Also, visit our wonderful Facebook page at www.facebook/desertlab. Thanks!

About Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Here is our mission statement from our website:
Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue of Phoenix (DLRR) is a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to finding loving, life-long homes for displaced Labrador Retrievers. In addition to rescue, our volunteers provide medical care and/or rehabilitation for these dogs and then attempt to match them with appropriate, permanent homes. We also provide Labrador Retriever breed and training information on request. Through public education, we strive to help eliminate animal overpopulation by encouraging the spaying and neutering of pets.

Come Meet Our Pets...

DLRR has regular events where potential adopters and the public can see some of our dogs. These events are listed on our website at www.dlrrphoenix.org.
As noted in the description below of how to adopt one of our labs, approved adopters may contact one of our volunteers to meet one of our available dogs.
Also check out our Facebook page, where many of our dogs are spotlighted. www.facebook.com/desertlab

Our Adoption Process...

Every potential adopter (who must live in Arizona) must fill out an online form and pay a small fee. A volunteer will contact the potential adopter and schedule a home visit. If everything looks good at the home visit, the potential adopter begins to receive our Dogalog twice a week that shows all available dogs. If a potential adopter is interested in a particular dog, he or she contacts the volunteer listed for that particular dog and arranges a time to meet the dog. If it is a potential match, we ask the adopter to think about it for about 24 hours. There is a fee to adopt one of our dogs and it is based on the dog's age, with younger dogs having a larger fee than our older labs. There is a contract to be signed.
