Zelda's Story...
Hi Everyone...Zelda's my name and I lived in the same home all of my life and then my person had a baby and brought me here. My profile indicates that I did really well with the other dog in my home. And it appears that I'm potty trained and just had accidents inside when I was left for an extended time and I got out of my crate. A routine, scheduled meal times and lots of positive reinforcement when I'm successful should help a lot. My person described me as a busy girl. So please don't think that since I'm no longer a puppy, I want to just lay around ALL day. I need an adopter who wants to spend time with me taking walks and having some fun together, too - someone who wants to include me in their activities and share their life with me. When I was getting my picture taken for the VHS website I was gentle and sweet and wanted to be near the person with me. I hope you'll come for a visit and get to know me better.
My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, up to date immunizations, nationally recognized microchip and more.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zelda, a Evansville Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
