found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Besides being matted, Shasta was also sick, so her foster mom pulled her from the shelter and took her for treatment the next day. Diagnosed with pneumonia, Shasta was started on antibiotics. The first three days in her foster home she stayed in her crate and had to be taken out for potty breaks and meals. Then one day, a bouncy, happy little dog emerged and began to play with toys and her foster mates.
Shasta must remain on antibiotics for a while longer, but she is recovering very well and was able to attend her first adoption showing where she was friendly with everyone and seemed fine with the other dogs.
In the home, Shasta is well behaved, sleeps quietly in a crate, and appears to be house trained using a doggie door. We are looking for an adult-only home for her or one with older children.
