DAISY is a 11 year old spayed yellow female Lab who weighs 54 pounds. Daisy #3 is a sweet yellow lady that is looking for a family to live out her golden years with! Daisy absolutely loves to swim and retrieve. She used to do field trials when she was younger. Daisy is in need of some tlc to return her to her beautiful lustrous self. She hasn't been getting the vet care and attention that she needed but now that she's with lab rescue that's all changed. Daisy is house trained. She is good with other dogs. Daisy needs to go to a home with a fenced-in yard, not invisible. A home where someone is not gone for long periods would be best for her. She loves the company. Owner give up to lab rescue due to owner losing home. She is approved for kids 10+.

Update: Daisy is a sweet soul who just wants to be loved on. She has mastered lifting your hand to pet her, loves going on walks (they are SO exciting, with SO many smells!!) and is working on her leash manners. She is super laid back in the house but has a very young spirit. She is good with other dogs, although prefers to do her own thing, and leaves the cat alone. She would especially love somewhere with carpets (hardwood is a little scary).

Update: DAISY is an 11 year old little sweetheart who has the energy level and agility of a MUCH younger girl!! She runs circles around the resident dog in her foster home, who is a 6 year old yellow male. She is like little miss energizer bunny! She is feeling and looking SO much better now that she has gained some needed weight, and her skin is getting under control after years without the best care. Daisy is now learning what it's like to play with toys...where as when she came to Lab Rescue - she would just look at them strangely. She is a great retriever of tennis balls, and is REALLY getting into the interactive toys that take some coordination to get food out of them....and is acing them! She is one SMART pup! Daisy knows a lot of commands and has excellent recall. She loves attention and is always opened to accepting as much TLC as you can give! See the video for Daisy with one of her new food dispensing balls.

Updatet: Daisy continues to bowl us over with her darling looks, and her fun energetic personality. This girl MUST be younger than 11!!! She is as agile and spunky as they come, but yet knows when to settle. Daisy is now beginning to be very playful with tennis balls, and toys. She did not know what to do with them at first, but is getting with the program quickly and loves retrieving and playing with her tennis balls, stuffed Kong's, and REALLY loves interactive-mentally stimulating toys!! Daisy knows several basic commands very well, and has excellent recall. She is now at an ideal weight, and her coat continues to fill in nicely. Daisy has the kindest, happiest, disposition about her, and she is very easy to care for. She is living and learning quickly about the good life!

Update: DAISY is an 11 year old little sweetheart who has the energy level and agility of a MUCH younger girl!! She is little miss energizer bunny! Daisy loves attention, tennis balls, and retrieving. She is feeling and looking SO much better now that she has gained some needed weight, and her coat has returned to previous bald areas from her previous life. Daisy has been through a lot yet still has the kindest, happiest, gentle disposition about her. Daisy is completely house trained and does not need to be crated. This little doll baby deserves nothing but love and kindness from here on out...and she's guaranteed to return the same to you!

Update: Daisy is a very sweet, affectionate, peppy little girl who is just dying to be made over and loved on. Although she's had a rough life over the past several years -she has risen above it all...her tail never stops wagging, and she actually seems to be smiling all the time too! She has gained the weight she needed, and her new coat is coming back in nicely- as her skin heals from the mess it's been in for so long. She is REALLY feeling SO much better now! Daisy has incredible spring in her step, and is amazingly agile and energetic for her age....I liken her to the energizer bunny! She gets along very well with our resident lab, and seems to prefer a 4-legged friend who does not pay her much attention....she is not interested in romping and playing with other dogs...she just seems to enjoy a friend to hang out with. She would probably be OK as an only dog as well. She does not like to be crated, and definitely does not need to be. We have left her home with the resident dog for several hours in the house, and she has never disturbed anything or picked up anything that wasn't a dog toy. However, she would prefer to be in a home where her owners are home more than not. She LOVES to go for walks and does OK on a leash, but is best with an easy walk harness - she will sometimes follow her nose when a good whiff of something comes along, and in those instances she will pull. Daisy rides very well in the car, and she is completely house trained. This sweet girl will make a wonderful, loving companion for anyone.
