Othello is very brave and handsome and also understandably shy and cautious with new people. Because he lived outdoors and only interacted with his caretaker, he needs some time to adjust to new people and situations.
Routine, good food, patience, and a gentle voice and hand are the keys to earning his trust, and, once he bonds to his new family, he will be fiercely loyal and loving. Othello is the bravest of the kittens and allows petting on his terms. He sits very close to his foster mom, plays with her, and comes right over with his tail held high to eat his meals. He loves to play with string and the Cat Dancer.
Please consider giving Othello a chance! He has been through so much and would really love to find his new family soon so that he can build trust with them and know that he has found his forever home.
