With a little hop and skip, darling Lydia jumps into every playtime dreamed up by one of her cutiepie littermates, or the other cats, or the small dog in the home where she has been raised. But now her person must move far away to a place that will not allow her to go. All these sweethearts need a forever home. Lydia hopes to find someone who wants to pick her up, adore her lovely purr, and welcome her into a cozy lap even with another kitten or two! She is truly a calico beauty with a beautiful personality to match, and will be a joy in a great forever family. Lydia hopes you'll choose her to love!

About The Cat House on the Kings - Sanctuary

About Our Shelter...

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

You may visit The Cat House daily, except major holidays, 1-4 pm, by appointment only. We also have an off-site adoption center located inside Petco at 4144 N. Blackstone at Ashlan in Fresno, which is open open daily 10am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-6pm.

Our Adoption Process...

All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.
