Do you like to play? I do! My name is Loki, and I am a neutered male pitbull mix. I am about 1 year old. I weigh about 45 pounds, and I shouldn’t get much bigger. I have the softest fur and the biggest smile. I think life is an adventure full of new smells, sights and sounds. I like to explore everything. I love to look for things under beds and behind couches. I currently live with 3 dogs, a cat, a ferret and a rabbit. I am learning to properly interact with other dogs. I prefer dogs who like to play with me, and I have a lot of energy. I am very interested in the cat, but when she hisses at me, I walk away. I don’t know why she doesn’t like me. So, I should be supervised with small animals. I’m crate trained; working leash walking and house training (and I am so close, as long as my foster mom is paying attention); I know my name, and will come when called. Also, I know how to sit nicely, and wait for my food. We are working on how to stay and other basic commands. I am a young boy, and would love a family that is committed to continuing my training. I love being active, and I would be best with a family that can keep up with my energy level. I love other dogs, but not all dogs love me because I can be a little too excited to play with them. Come meet me, and find out if I am the perfect match for you. If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting Loki, please complete an application at www.toledospetbullproject.com/adoption-info/

Come Meet Our Pets...

Nov. 11, 2016: Petco -- Monroe St, Toledo, Ohio.

Our Adoption Process...

All of our dogs are in foster homes so once you decide on which dog you would like to meet and/or adopt, complete and submit an adoption application, which can be found at www.toledospetbullproject.com/adoption-info/ (please copy and paste into your browser).

The application will be reviewed; if the applicant meets our adoption criteria, the application will be passed on to the foster. The foster will then contact you and make arrangements for your family to meet the dog. A home visit is required for all of our adoptions. If you are out of our area, we will make arrangements with a rescue group in your area.

Our adoption fees are as follows:
$150 for dog/puppies under 1 year
$125 for dogs over 1 year
$75 for senior dogs (depends on breed)
For Puppies 4 months old and younger: Adopter agrees to pay a $50 training retainer in addition to the adoption fee. The $50 training retainer will be refunded to adopter after completing a dog training class and showing proof of certificate
