Say Hello to two precious little ladies. Their names are SAGE and LAVENDER.
They are both about 10 months old and besides being gorgeous, they are also some of the most affectionate, sweet kitties you will meet. As soon as they see you, they start purring. Talk about an immediate mood booster. These two are prime examples of adopting a pet to make your life better. Because believe us, they will. Anyone who has met them has completely fallen in love. Oh and guess what, they are good with dogs, too.
We've actually had these two with us for awhile while we confirmed a medical diagnosis. And unfortunately, after multiple tests, we've confirmed that they are indeed FeLV+. We feel they have so much love to give, we must try and find them a loving forever family for whatever time they have left. FeLV can only be transmitted to other cats, not other species (dogs, bunnies, etc). Regardless of the length of their life, a cat with the virus can lead an incredibly happy life, just like any other cat.
If you would like to adopt or foster these cuties, please fill out an application at tailsofhopenj.com. Feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you have on FeLV or Sage and Lavender.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
