Meet our favourite shy but sweet guy. Pee-Wee takes a little coaxing but once he's comfortable with you he loves to cuddle. He's definitely a curious kitty and is always interested in what you're doing. Moving his bed? He'll try and help out by jumping inside. Putting down a litter box? He'll sit right where you want to put it. His good friend Sam definitely brings out the best in him too. She's the braver of the two who'll report back to tell him it's okay to check out. Pee Wee likes to brush off of Sam when he's scared and the two love to sleep near each other. Pee Wee is quite the cutie-pie. Come meet this charming and quirky fellow during our adoption hours.

About BC SPCA - Sunshine Coast Branch

About Our Shelter...

See our website at www.spca.bc.ca/sunshinecoast for all of our current adoption prices, hours of operation, etc.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
