Facts about Buffy

  • Breed: Domestic Mediumhair
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: ps_84742639
  • Hair: Unknown

Buffy was enjoying the simple life, she had a home, a kitty companion, and a human to call her very own. Then one day, her owner became very ill and had to go into hospice and couldn't take the kitties with them.  Buffy was understandably very upset and then found herself at the shelter because the family was not able to take her in. That was when she came to us. She is extremely loving and outgoing, loves giving head butts and being scratched under her chin. She loves to be brushed and likes to sit in laps as often as possible. She is 4-5 years old, front declawed and gets along with other cats and small dogs. Her companion Red is also available for adoption, it would be great if they could stay together, but not necessary.

About Dallas Cat Lady Adoptions

About Our Rescue Group...

We work with local shelters to give cats and kittens more time to find just the right home. We have placed over 3,000 kitties with new families since 2013. We are also avid promoters of the Trap-Neuter-Release process to assist in the reduction of homeless cats by spaying and neutering and education of the public on the basics of the process.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have a cat adoption event every Saturday from noon-8 pm at Petco Prestonwood on Montfort between Arapaho and Beltline (just across the street is Addison). We also have adoptable cats and kittens on display at Petco Casa Linda, Petco Carrollton, Petco Lovers Lane, Petco Prestonwood and Petco Mesquite all the time.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process involves a personal interview with one of our adoption counsellors. Potential adopters are asked questions about their family, home, and lifestyle in order to match them with the perfect cat or kitten. We do require an adoption contract/agreement that outlines expectations for both the adopter and our organization.
Adoption Fees are $60 for adults, $100-120 for most kittens, and $150 for specialty breeds.
