Bella's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bella's Story...
Beautiful Bella is a 5 to 7-year old Lab/Viszla mix. She is around 60 lbs, spayed, and current on her vaccinations.
She is a sweetheart who gets along with other dogs, cats, and children.
She knows basic obedience (sit and down) and is housetrained. She is very food motivated and eager to please, so she will be easy to train.
She has been showing signs of some resource-guarding around food, but is easily distracted by a couple of commands with treats. She also could use a tune up on walking on a leash without pulling.
Bella needs her people to be around, as she does not like to be left alone. So, she would do well with some active retired people, or someone who works from home. Since she gets along with other dogs, she would probably do well in doggie daycare.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Bellingham Labrador Retriever/Vizsla dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Vizsla for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Vizsla dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Vizsla breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Vizsla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
