Martin and Morgan are believed to be Pointers and estimated at 1 1/2 - 2 years old. They are a little timid in unfamiliar situations but very comfortable in their foster home. They have learned to play with toys and get along great with the other dogs in their foster home and especially with each other. They are believed to be brothers who likely only had each other to rely on. They sleep in the same crate, eat out of the same bowl and groom each other. When they were neutered, the first one who woke up refused to leave his brother and laid with his head across him until he woke up from anesthesia. We are going to attempt to keep them together and can hopefully find a family with hearts big enough for both. Martin is 60 pounds, Morgan is 48 pounds. They have been vaccinated, boostered, dewormed, flea treated, heartworm & lyme tested negative and had dental cleanings. They do extremely well in a crate and have done well with housetraining as long as they are taken out on a schedule. They are still a work in progress on house manners, we believe they have always been outdoor dogs. Very sweet temperament. Email email@example.com for an application, they are fostered in Fairmont, WV.

Pet Helpers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foster based volunteer rescue located in Fairmont, WV. We do adopt out of state to approved applicants, if you are willing to drive to WV to pick up your pet. We do not fly or use transport companies. Our adoption fee is $150.00 for mixed breed puppies and adult dogs, $225.00 for full blooded puppies and adult dogs and $50.00 for cats and kittens. Regardless if the animal is a mixed breed or full blooded they are spayed/neutered prior to adoption IF they are old enough. If they are too young at the time of adoption, then it is your financial responsibility to spay/neuter the pet by the age of 6 months and you must provide proof for our files that it has been done. All of our pets are checked by a vet, given the shots appropriate for their age and any other treatment deemed necessary by the vet. All of our pets are adopted as indoor pets and are not be outdoors tied to a box 24/7. The pet you are adopting has been living in a home with a foster family. You are expected to take possession of the pet you are applying for within a few days of application approval. This will enable us to accept another pet into that home. Because we are a rescue, and believe that spaying and neutering is crucial in stopping the reproduction of unwanted puppies/kittens and massive amounts of animals dying daily in shelters across the country, we expect any animal already in your home to be spayed/neutered. If for any reason you are unable to keep the pet you have adopted you are required to return them to Pet Helpers, Inc. They are not to be sold or given away.
