Sometimes everything comes together in just the right way and you discover the perfect dog. Girasole is one of those perfect dogs. She is a small (34 pound) pittie girl who is about a year old. Right now, this perfect girl is pregnant. So, she isn’t available for adoption until her pups are weaned, but she is available for pre-adoption.
Girasole’s name means sunflower and just like a sunflower, Girasole is a warm, happy girl who reminds us of good things. She is friendly with everyone she meets, and she adores her foster’s teenage sons. She loves to be around her people and loves to cuddle with you while she naps. Her foster mom says Girasole is the happiest dog she has ever known. And while Girasole can be a tiny bit stubborn, she is so very smart, wants only to please you and is highly trainable. And, she walks very well on her leash and enjoys her walking.
Girasole gets along with other dogs, but she does prefer all your attention. So, she will thrive as an only dog, but she could probably learn to share your affection. Girasole is quickly learning to be an inside pup, and when kept on a schedule, she is almost completely house trained. She sleeps in her crate at night (as long as you give her a treat), but she would also love to sleep with her person. And she loves car rides and playing with her tennis balls.
If you are looking for a gorgeous, green-eyed female who will adore you and keep company at home and on walks, Girasole is the girl for you. You can complete an adoption application at the web address shown below.
