This cutie-pahtootie is Ella, a gorgeous 4 month old American Foxhound mix puppy. She is energetic, playful, silly, and loving. Ella gets along great with other dogs of all sizes, as well as kitties. Her foster mom crates Ella when she is away from home, which keeps her safe as well as helps her with her housebreaking. She is doing really well with consistent, frequent potty breaks, as well as "down time" in her crate.
Typical of puppies, Ella is in her chewing stage so she needs lots of toys, bones, and appropriate chewing items to keep her occupied. Because of Ella's age, she requires an adopter who has time, energy, and willingness to continue housebreaking and general house manners. In addition, due to Ella's breed - a hunting dog - she will do best with adopters who are active, taking her not only for daily walks but also for runs (via biking, roller blading, jogs, etc); without the opportunity to expel energy, Ella could develop inappropriate behaviors.
Ella has been examined by a licensed veterinarian, been dewormed, received age appropriate vaccines, and will be spayed and microchipped prior to adoption. ADOPTION APPLICATIONS are available for online completion and submission through our website's home page - www.acaringplacehs.org
