Betsy's Story...
Have you ever seen a sweeter face than this? Betsy is a beautiful little dog and is as cute as can be. She is 14 pounds of wild woman…loads of fun and sweetness with a typical terrier stubborn streak shining through. Betsy will be happiest in a home of 1 or 2 adults where she can be the only four-legged family member. She is a little uncomfortable with small children but she should be fine with teenagers. She is okay with other dogs and cats, but not too interested in them and prefers to do her own thing. Betsy needs a human master that can be a clear pack leader and provide a loving structured environment. Betsy does very well in her crate and is housebroken. She has been spayed, microchipped and is up to date on her shots. She has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. If you would like to meet Betsy, please complete the adoption application form at www.cedarfarmrescue.com. As soon as you have submitted the application please call Tony at 336.251.8877 to arrange a visit. If you don't get him on your initial call please try again in about 15 minutes. Meetings are held at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville by appointment only. Thank you for considering a rescued dog. 68005

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betsy, a Mocksville Cairn Terrier/Norwich Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Norwich Terrier for sale in Mocksville, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Norwich Terrier dog from a breeder in Mocksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mocksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mocksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Norwich Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Norwich Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mocksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
