Zane's Story...
*Courtesy Post*
Good morning!!! My name is Zane and I'm a 3 year old lab mix. I've been hanging out here at the South Hills Pet Rescue with my best friend Nick, learning to be a good boy! Now I'm ready to show off my new skills. I love going for walks, playing with toys and snuggling with my people. I do like all of the attention, so I'd need to be an only pet. To meet me, stop in Sun-Fri from 1-7 (closed Tuesday's), Sat 11-5 or email shpr88@yahoo.com for more info. Have a happy day!
Love,
Zane

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zane, a South Park Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in South Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in South Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
