ROSA is an approximately 3 yr old Chihuahua who was found as a stray. She is pretty laid back for a Chi and gets along with everybody - dogs, cats, kids! Rosa has a tear at the same spot on each ear - possibly she wore ear tags for breeding? Other guesses are that someone pierced her ears for fashion or she was bitten by another dog. Whatever the reason, Rosa isn't telling and has moved on. She is super sweet and likes to go for walks but enjoys couch potato time as well. Rosa would do well with just about any family from one with active kids to a senior citizen. She is currently in a foster home with 3 dogs and 2 cats and doing well. Rosa has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm tested (negative) and is ready to move in with you! Adoption $200. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org and, once approved, we will set up a meet & greet with you and her foster family.

About CompAnimals Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a small not-for-profit "no kill" rescue. Our mission is to take in unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs, cats and other small pets; to place those we can in loving, permanent homes; and to provide a sanctuary for the animals whose age, health issues or temperament precludes them from adoption. Our dogs & cats are neutered, vaccinated and receive all necessary medical treatment beford being made available for adoption. Through our volunteers and outreach programs we educate the next generation about the importance of spay/neuter and giving a lifelong home to their pets. We hope to one day put ourselves out of business but until then we will continue to rescue regardless of breed, age or medical condition.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our shelter has visiting hours - Wed through Sat from noon 'til 5 p.m. You're welcome anytime we're open.
Most our our dogs live in foster homes, and will likely not be at the shelter unless arrangements are made ahead of time.
We do hold monthly "Meet and Greets" at local pet stores, but here, as well, to meet a specific dog arrangements should be made in advance so that
your potential new best friend can be there waiting to meet you.

Our Adoption Process...

Please visit www.CompAnimal.org for more information about the adoption process and our fees. Our application is online, and relatively quick and painless to fill out.
We are a small all volunteer organization. Your e-mail wiil typically receive a quicker response than your phone call.
