These "fishkittens" were born in foster care to a mother cat who was not so sure about humans and would not let her kittens be interacted with in their first several weeks; as soon as they could be weaned, they were moved to another foster for lots of love and socialization. While they had to unlearn some things their mom had taught them, they were still able to become playful, happy, fearless, and adorable kittens who need some introduction time and then will dote on the people caring for them.

Scritches are fabulous, laps are cozy, canned food is yummy, and toys are amazing!
Danio is the most social and quite talkative as he follows you around the house. He likes to practice his pouncing skills and is a lovable and trusting kitten.
Little Betta makes up for her size with big-time antics when the exciting flying toys come out. She’ll answer you back when spoken to and is a great conversationalist.
Oscar is a little reserved at first, yet pick him up and tuck him close and he completely melts—this gentle sweetie can be held like a baby. Oscar loves playtime though doesn’t compete and enjoys solo time with the flying "Da Bird" toy. He can be quite the talker at times.
Tetra is the boss and queen of the litter, adamant when she wants something and clamoring loudly to get it. She’s an incredible climber and jumper and very strong for a kitten. She teams up with Cory.
Cory is rarely alone and if he’s not pairing up with a sibling (especially Tetra) then he’s hanging with you and likely talking your ear off. He’s a lovable and adorable little guy.

The kittens should do well with other cats and would be happiest with company; respectful children are fine after a getting-to-know-you period. They haven’t met dogs, though if properly introduced...

You’re in for an ocean of fun and love with these kittens... who will win your heart?

We find loving homes for unwanted, abandoned, homeless and abused cats. We open our arms to cats that need assistance, regardless of age and often regardless of handicap. We find good homes for every cat that we take in - we are a true no-kill cat rescue organization.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We at The Rescue House believe that we can contribute to the welfare of our furry friends by implementing an Adoption Program. Our Adoption Centers are located in retail pet stores whose philosophy agrees with The Rescue House's mission.
