My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mischief. A 10 month old mostly Collie mix.

Mischief is a bundle of energy.  She needs someone who can teach her lots of things to keep her mind and body active.  She will chase anything that moves, cars, a leaf, butterflies and yes even geese flying overhead. So her safety is of course our first concern. Therefore she will need a securely fenced yard. No where that she can see cars or moving objects would be best.  A privacy fence would be great.  When she is in chase mode she has a hearing problem. (yes I said that)  This can be worked with as she is young.  She is already responding much better in the short time she has been in our care.

Mischief needs her new home to be knowledgeable, calm, consistent, patient and active. She has had a bad start and must have been too much for her previous homes. I think Mischief would do well at obedience, agility, flyball, frisbee or any dog sports with the right trainer.  She is very agile and jumps to catch things in the air with all four feet off ground.

She would not do well left home alone all day alone.

She is a happy go lucky girl who gets along with other dogs, kids and cats. She loves toys, lots of toys. A dog savvy very experienced home is needed for Mischief. She is NOT for first time dog owners .

This beautiful bundle of energy is being fostered in SE Michigan
