I'm Daphne! As you can see by my picture, I can be a bit silly and stick my tongue out at you! I'm a very sweet girl who was recently returned to Texas CARES because my previous family could no longer keep me. I'm a little shy, but have a lot of love to give. I had all my teeth extracted about 3 years ago because I developed some gum issues. Today, I am a very healthy girl and eating my dry food is not a problem at all in fact, I prefer it!  I sometimes drool and may need some extra help with my grooming and I love the attention.  I don't like being at an Adoption Center so I burrow under my blankets where it's warm and safe.  I desperately need another loving home.  Please consider me if you are looking for a sweetie pie like me.

I do need a Foster and perhaps you will consider being my temporary Family until my forever family finds me?  If so, please email to get more information about our Foster Volunteer Program.

About Texas CARES

About Our Rescue Group...

Texas CARES is a non-profit, no-kill animal welfare organization. Our all-volunteer group provides shelter and veterinary care for homeless and unwanted cats and kittens in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area.

Our cats and kittens are rescued from local "kill" shelters, and/or found roaming the streets. All are cared for in foster homes until they are adopted.

Our Goals:
*To find permanent homes for our animals

This process can take 48-72 hours. Applications for adoption can be obtained from a Texas CARES volunteer or found on our website: Adoption fees are tax deductible donations.
