Cinder's Story...
Little princess, Cinder, came to us through our contract with City of Lansing, Kansas. We are told she was left behind when a family moved away and she wasn't being treated very kindly in her neighborhood. One concerned citizen made all the difference! Cinder is growing back her beautiful coat now that the nasty fleas are gone and she is feeling MUCH better. Today she is just waiting for a family to say #LetsGoHome. Lots of love in this little girl. Sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and parasite free, Cinder is ready to go!

Standard adoption fee for cats is $90, which helps to pay for the veterinary care needed to ready pets for adoption. Email LvnCoHS@live.com for info and application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cinder, a Lansing Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Lansing, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Lansing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lansing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lansing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lansing paves the way for another one to be saved.
