Abigail's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Abigail's Story...
I LOVE: being with people, going on long leash walks where I can put my hound dog nose to good use, I do amazing while riding in the car. I just sit and take it all in, and if I've had enough, I get comfy and fall asleep. I've finally gotten relaxed in my foster home and showing that I can be funny and I'm love to play !!

I HAVE: long velvety ears, a nose that won't quit, wrinkles on my rumpus, a gentle and affectionate nature. I've got so much love to share, if you'd let me, I'd cuddle beside you on the couch, if I'm not allowed on the couch, I'd lay continently at your feet.

I GET ALONG WITH: Dogs and cats. My foster mom and dad have 5 cats and 2 dogs, I love being with them. I love being around people, I absorb all the affection I can get.

I WOULD RATHER NOT: have to spend much too much time outside, especially alone. I'd much rather stay in the comfy house with you, because I really start to worry about if you'll leave me and never come back again. Don't get me wrong, Living on a large property would be amazing, but without you close I could get distracted and wander away. My nose really likes new smells !!

I NEED: a home with a really good fence!! Lots of love because I've got so much to give. I'm so ready for my Furrever home with you. I'm waiting patiently. Xoxoxoxo Abigail

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abigail, a Bastrop Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound for sale in Bastrop, or seeking a Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Bastrop.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bastrop already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bastrop breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound breeders who help with Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bastrop paves the way for another one to be saved.
