Roper's Story...
Roper is a fun, playful, busy, high energy dog, but he's very smart, loves people and loves to be with them. Roper's rescuer found him running down the road with a ski rope tied on his neck - so tight that we we removed it, he had to have stitches! Now, all healed up and ready to go, he would love to meet you today! He is 1 year old and neutered, a Blue Heeler/Shepherd mix. He would be best with a person that can train him and wants a dog to ride in his truck or take camping or on hikes. He's a busy boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roper, a Reeds Spring Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Reeds Spring, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Reeds Spring.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reeds Spring already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reeds Spring breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reeds Spring paves the way for another one to be saved.
