Colt is a one year old male boxer mix. He was found on the streets by a good Samaritan who rescued him. We have been working with him and now he is ready to be adopted. He loves to give kisses. Colt is neutered and up to date on his shots, including rabies. He has been heart worm tested and he was negative. GARD was founded in 2006 by, and is privately owned by, a family of animal lovers who have dedicated their lives to saving animals and educating others regarding the pet over-population problem.

Come Meet Our Pets...

GARD is open every day from 2:00 to 6:00PM EST. We also normally hold adoptions at PetSmart in Pooler, GA on Saturdays. Please check our website for adoption event details.

Our Adoption Process...

If interested in adopting an animal, please read the GARD Adoption Guidelines first at http://www.gardonline.org/adoption/gard-adoption-guidelines/ and then complete an adoption questionnaire at http://www.gardonline.org/adoption/adoption-application/ If approved, you will have to complete the adoption contract located on our website and pay an adoption fee which can range from $50 and up depending on the animal.
