Hi there.  My name is Tiger and I am a female dog estimated to be 1-2 years old and possibly a Mountain Cur.  That sounds like a cool breed so I'll go along with that.

I was found along a busy road the end of October.  After an exhaustive search my family did not come forward to claim me so I am searching for another family.  I hope that will be with you.

I am a very nice girl.  I LOVE attention from the volunteers here at the shelter.  I love going for walks (although I am a little strong on a leash, but we're working on that), and I love being petted and I love running.  I am a climber, so I will need to have either a lot of land to run on, or a 'climb-proof' fence!

I know there is a family out there for me and I hope that is with you.

Tiger resides at a rescue organization in Arkansas. Please contact Gail Ross at 870-431-8229, or via email at gailspets@hotmail.com to discuss this dog. You can find our adoption application by going to www.Gailspets.org and clicking on the Adoption Application tab. The application, when completed and submitted, will be electronically sent to Gail’s email address. If you live on the East Coast, we work with a wonderful transport company that takes extra special care of the precious cargo that they deliver to anxious new families. Here is a link to their Route 1 schedule.
