My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Leah.

She is a 2 year old female blonde Labrador mix with beautiful crystal brown eyes and very light blonde hair with a white chest and paws. She is about 50 lbs and has the softest silk like hair almost like a new born puppy. .

Leah came to her foster home as an extremely shy and timid dog walking with her tail between her legs and head down all the time. She wouldn’t approach people and was fearful of the smallest sound. New surroundings typically are unknown and scary. We have worked to gain her trust and build her confidence and she now goes for walks holding her tail and head up high, she chases and plays with a tennis ball and love to run after birds. She is a very sweet and affectionate dog that loves to be petted and scratched. She will be a great fit to any family that can offer her a loving home.

She knows “let’s go outside” as the command to go outside. He will also sit on command.

Leah is house trained and currently not crated however when we got her she was a crated dog.

She respects property and doesn’t get up on furniture unless prompted to do so.

Leah loves to play, run and go for walks. She does well on a leash and knows to stay on the sidewalk during walks. She also loves to go for a car ride and stick her head out the window.

She will bark if someone knocks or rings the doorbell and will be quiet on command. A great watch dog at night for any odd sound.

Being around any other dog is fine and also children of all ages. Being around cats is unknown.

She is spayed, vaccinated and micro chipped. Apply at www.luckylabrescue.com
