PHAT ALBERT NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Phat Albert  Breed: Lab/American Bulldog mix

Approximate Age:  4 years

Approximate Weight: 67 lbs

Lived with: Dogs

Currently Living at: local shelter but coming to the area soon!

Special adoption considerations: none known at this time

Greetings humans, my name is Phat Albert.  I am a 4 year old Lab/American Bulldog mix looking for my furever home.  As you might be able to tell from my name, I am a bit chunky and need to work on losing a few pounds so I can reach my ideal weight.  The nice people at the shelter are feeding me the right amount of food now and the pounds are melting off.

My perfect family will make sure that I get lots of love plus take me to school and out on lots of walks so I can socialize with other dogs and make lots of friends.  After all that, I am looking forward to snuggling up in my very own bed, getting some belly rubs and even maybe a few treats!

I am a shepherd mix, and I have LOTS of puppy energy to burn, so an active family would be great. I also need a family who will provide me with structure and who is willing to work with me on basic manners.  I am a good boy who is very enthusiastic so I need help channeling my energy.  I also love other dogs so I hope I will get to go to the dog park or daycare of get other opportunities to run and play and socialize.

Like most of our dogs dogs, Phat Albert will probably need a housetraining refresher. Even though he is already 4, Phat Albert would LOVE to go to obedience school so he can show you how smart he is and learn to be a well mannered young man.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Megan D. at megan.luckydog@gmail.com!

About Lucky Dog Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a group of highly motivated and highly dedicated volunteers. We spend countless hours making sure that wonderful dogs find loving forever homes. We don't do it for money -- we do it for the joy a dog can bring to its new family; we do it for our love of animals; and we do it to save lives!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
