Spayed female, 3 years old, Terrier Mix, 40 pounds
Annie was dropped off at a local shelter with her 6 puppies when they were only a month old. The little family had been abandoned in a backyard when the property owner was put in jail, and neighbors had been trying to keep them fed. Unfortunately, the owner never returned, and Annie and pups found themselves at the shelter.
Annie was heartworm positive, but went through fast-kill treatment on 11/16/16. She will be spending this month on cage rest. She is a young, vibrant, fun little gal that enjoys playing with toys and other dogs. She does not like cats, and will chase them. We are not sure that she has ever experienced life inside of a home. Our desire is to find an adopter that understands that Annie may need a little time to adjust to life as an "inside" pet. Annie's hope is to be in her own, warm home, by Christmas! Her adoption fee has been reduced to $200, which includes a 6 month supply of heartworm pills.
Annie has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and is on her monthly preventatives. She is in foster care in East Tennessee. Her adoption fee is $200 which includes all vetting and transport. Vet references, personal references, and home visits may be required prior to adoption.
