Meet Patchy! $450 Adoption Fee

12 week old, Male, Terrier/Pointer Mix (best guess), current weight 13 lb.

Patchy, along with his 5 siblings and his mom, were brought to the county animal shelter after being abandoned in a back yard when their original owner was incarcerated. Neighbors tried to step in and care for them all, but it was just too overwhelming. All were rescued, and have been in foster care since the pups were around 4 weeks old. Mom appears to be a tri-color terrier mix, around 40 pounds (pictures of mom available upon request). Dad is unknown.

Patchy is spunky, energetic, and loves to play! Preference on adopters will be given to a family that has another young, energetic dog that wants to play equally as hard as Patchy. We also would prefer a fenced in yard because he tends to be curious and likes to adventure out on his own. He is neutered, has had a set of three (3) DHPP vaccines, bordatella vaccine, has been dewormed numerous times, microchipped, and up-to-date on flea/tick preventative. His estimated DOB is 08/24/16. We think he will reach between 45-55 pounds based upon the size of his mom.

This dog/puppy is in foster care in East Tennessee. Our standard adoption fee is $450 which includes all vetting and transport. Vet references, personal references, and home visits may be required prior to adoption.

About Pooches & Purrs Cooperative - Harrisonburg, VA

About Our Rescue Group...

Pooches & Purrs Cooperative is a group of rescues and individual rescuers that are working hard to find loving homes for the dogs, cats, kittens and puppies that find their way into our care through no fault of their own. Each individual or group has several wonderful dogs In Tennessee, Alabama or Kentucky looking for homes! All of them are completely vetted and neutered/spayed (if age appropriate) and on heartworm protection. All of them come with complete medical records. Their adoption fee of $500 covers their complete age appropriate vetting and heartworm preventative as well as their transportation to your area.
Our rescues don't have an actual shelter building in the New England area. Due to this it is not always possible to meet them prior to their adoption. At times, a dog may be in foster care in New England and their bio will clearly be marked as such so you will know. These southern dogs & cats are brought up to their new owners weekly! We have a 14 day money back guarantee and the pet can be rehomed appropriately if things don't work out. Each group tries hard to get good matches in your homes so that everyone has a happy life together! To date the cooperative has placed over a two thousand dogs and puppies, cats and kittens in loving New England homes! Each group has many, many, references of happy adopters up in your area that can fill you in on their experience. Just email and they can pass along that information for your convenience. Thanks!
