Danke (meaning thank you in German) is a handsome and charming kitty who is approximately 10 years young.  His goals in life are to find a comfy bed to sleep on, yummy food to fill his belly, and someone to pet his soft, luxurious coat.  He does love to explore as well, and even though he isn’t a mischievous kitten he will make you laugh with his curious nature. Danke is used to living with other cats and dogs, and while he hasn’t been around children he doesn’t seem to be bothered by anyone or anything.

Danke has a form of cancer that is common in white kitties who are in the sun too much.  His ears have been cropped to remove the painful cancer spots that were allowed to grow for too long by his previous owner.  Unfortunately, Danke’s cancer will return and he will require vet care to remove spots that appear in the future. Danke certainly doesn’t let any of this bother him and he is a great patient at the vet. He truly just wants a warm, safe place to rest his head for however many years he has left . . . and he promises to be a handsome, faithful companion in return.
