Don’t let my name scare you – I am not stinky – it’s just a name! What I am is cuter than a butterfly’s elbow, super sweet, playful and affectionate. I love to purr up a storm and make your day so much better with my extreme cuteness. I am only 6 months old and have been neutered, fully vaccinated, and litter trained.

My owner, who loves me sooooo much, is having to rehome me due to severe cat allergies. She didn’t know she was allergic when she adopted me. Life can be cruel! I am looking for a loving new home in the Los Angeles area. I am good with children, other cats and dogs, as long as they are cat-friendly. I will bring all my supplies with me – a “ready to love” kitten! Please offer me a loving home today!

Stinky is a wonderful little cat and has been from day one. He is a bold, curious guy with a giant heart. He loves sleeping on us (which does not help my allergies at all!), curled up on our chest or next to our neck. When I’m sitting down at my desk, he loves to put his paws up on my chest and fall asleep sitting up against me.

Stinky is super playful and curious. He has never been afraid of strangers and in fact seems to welcome anything new or exciting. He always wants to be involved in what we are doing and loves just hanging around us, usually never further than a few feet from either one of us.

Stinky was never shy and the first day we brought him home, it took him just a few minutes to be comfortable. He is super smart and figures things out easily and loves anything with crinkling or bell sounds. He loves hiding behind things and pouncing at us, but he is always careful to keep his claws in when doing so.

He is also not a picky eater and he eats dry food, wet food, and also raw food. He’ll eat whatever you put down, though he seems to prefer poultry. He’s a talkative cat, and will meow his moods.

He greets us each and every day when we come home or when we come out of the bedroom.

We rescued our little kitten when we fell in love with him at the adoption center. The first week went by without issues. On the second week, however, I found out that I was allergic to him as symptoms hit me suddenly. Initially, I held out thinking it might improve over the next few months, but it did not and has progressively gotten worse. It has begun to affect my job performance and also has me in coughing fits.

We have tried various solutions over the past months, including air filters, HEPA vacuuming, good quality food, and wiping down the cat. It does not seem to have a lasting effect, and the medications I have tried have either not been effective or caused side effects that I cannot live with (insomnia).

I feel guilt every time he cannot come to bed with us, due to the allergies, and given that he is currently a kitten and would benefit from increased social time, we have decided to try and look for a good home for him. I am honestly devastated at this decision and I’ve been going back and forth on it repeatedly. I would love love love to keep in touch with him and his new owners after he finds a home.

About Orange County Find My Pet A Home

About Our Rescue Group...

In many locations throughout the USA and Canada, shelters are rescues are filled to capacity, leaving pet owners who can no longer care for their pet with nowhere to turn. Many pets are needlessly being euthanized.

Being placed in a shelter is a very stressful experience for all pets - and their owners. We offer a very good alternative, allowing pets to stay in the loving care of their owners while a new home is located for them.

We have helped many pet owners in need to place their pet in a home where they have great peace of mind in knowing that their pet is being cherished, well cared for and kept safe, happy and healthy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

In most instances, our pets stay with their owners until a new home can be located. There are some situations which require a more urgent placement, and in these instances, we look for loving foster homes to care for these pets until a permanent home can be located.

Pets available for adoption can be viewed on our website at http://findmypetahome.com

Our Adoption Process...

When a pet is placed with our organization, our staff create a very honest and compelling adoption story about the pet, using the information provided to us.

We then spread the word about this pet's need for a new home through a wide variety of online services, and through local outreach.

Interested parties are directed to fill out a formal request to meet a pet, providing in-depth information about themselves.

Before a potential adopter is introduced to a pet, we do careful reference screening and a criminal records check.

Should the pet's owner and the adoptive party agree to an adoption, a formal agreement is entered into, requiring the new owner to agree to keep in touch, ensure the pet's physical and emotional well-being, and provide a safe, happy and healthy home.

They are required to agree that they will not surrender the pet to a shelter or give away the pet - but rather they are to contact our organization so that we can find another suitable home, in the event that they are unable to fulfill their commitment.

The owners deliver the pet to the new owners, so that they can do a home inspection prior to leaving the pet in the new owner's care.

Our organization provides follow-up services, contacting the new owners after the first week, and then every 45 days for the first nine months post-adoption. This helps ensure the pet is being well cared for, and that the new owners have any support they need in adjusting to life with their new companion,
