Meet Helen. Just about the cutest puppy ever! She and her brother Magoo (also available) were dropped off in a box at one of our Vets offices. It took us a few days to figure out that they are completely blind. Helen is healthy, her eyes have developed normally, she just cant see out of them. Our Vet thinks either the mom dog was vaccinated early on in her pregnancy, which is a no no, or that she had a virus that effected the sight of the puppies. They are amazing little puppies. As long as they go with another dog they will do great. They are currently in foster care with other dogs and doing wonderful. The other dog in your home will be Helen's eyes and her ears will lead her way. Its amazing to watch. The puppies pick up on things so quickly and they will be very easy to train. They hear you walk and just follow you. Or, they will hear you in the other room and make their way to you. They already have their foster home memorized and know the daily routine. Helen is a very happy, healthy little girl, full of love, tail wags and kisses. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night with no trouble at all. Sometimes she just goes into her crate all by herself and puts herself to sleep. She also knows how to sit on command. We ask that you have another dog in the home young enough and playful enough for Helen to bond with. She will not be able to go to a two story house, or a house with a swimming pool or pond. Children must to be over the age of 10 please.
Helen is in foster care and can be seen at our Saturday adoption event from 11am - 3pm at Creative Pet Supply -305 North Harbor Blvd. San Pedro, CA 90731.
