Meet Helen. Just about the cutest puppy ever! She and her brother Magoo (also available) were dropped off in a box at one of our Vets offices. It took us a few days to figure out that they are completely blind. Really, you would never know. Helen is healthy and her eyes have developed normally, she just cant see out of them. She has completely memorized the lay of the land at her foster home. She plays well with all the other dogs in the home and uses her ears and sense of smell to get around. She loves being with another dog and will bond with them quickly. Its amazing to watch. She can hear you walk and will just follow you. Or, she will hear you in another room and make her way to you. Helen is a very happy, healthy little girl, full of love, tail wags and kisses. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night with no trouble at all. Sometimes she just goes into her crate all by herself and puts herself to sleep. She also knows how to sit on command and uses the doggie door to do her business outside almost all of the time. We ask that you have another dog in the home for Helen to bond with. She will not be able to go to a house with a swimming pool or pond. Children must to be over the age of 10 please. You must also have a doggie door to make her life a little easier. Just come and meet this amazing puppy, she loves everyone she meets and is also cat safe. She walks wonderful on leash and loves to ride in the car and be where ever you are at.
